Bussey Building

Rooftop cinema, 18 piece jazz big band, 1920’s speakeasy, School of Skateboarding, Yin Yoga, Peckham Soul record shop, were all to be found the day I took these photos at the Bussey Building.

Also known as Copeland Park (the collection of former industrial buildings) or the ’Peckham Cultural Quarter’, it’s teaming with tattoo studios, art studios, advertising agencies and cool. Occasionally arts shows are hosted here by graduating students of nearby Goldsmiths University.

I gave a talk at the Electromagnetic Field Festival about the quirky curiosities of South London on this website and someone asked if the Bussey Building featured. It does now.
